Candidate Services - Permanent or Contract?
At Medicare First, candidates can expect to be offered a wide range of
job opportunities. Whether you choose to work on a permanent or locum
basis, the difference can be relatively small considering the fact that
permanent and locum staff can work alongside each other performing similar
tasks. We aim to make the transition from permanent to locum employment
as easy as possible but why become locum in the first place?
As well as the earning potential associated with such a working
status, locums have the freedom and flexibility of choosing where they
want to work and for how long. Locums are normally able to develop their
skill set more quickly as they become familiar with the different environments,
situations and people that they become exposed to.
Locum work can also lead to new challenges, as no two assignments
are ever the same. However, you may be concerned about forfeiting a permanent
position for a short-term contract. If this is the case, you will be reassured
to find that most locums move from one contract to another with consummate
ease.
Whether you pursue the permanent or locum option our specialist
teams can offer in-depth knowledge and provide advice on which is the
best route for you and discuss the many vacancies we are currently recruiting
for.
